- Smuggler’s Cove — The king daddy of all San Francisco tiki bars, this Hayes Valley pilgrimage spot is home to over 1,300 rums and expertly crafted cocktails. Its authentic nautical décor makes it a must-visit for serious tiki enthusiasts; I haven’t yet been inside as I only tried to visit during the Bay Area, but they made the best canned cocktails I’ve ever had.

The Tonga Room’s dramatic setting and events make it a one-of-a-kind experience.
